Why a Rick Steves’ Tour?
I have dreamed about traveling to England after watching British drama and mysteries on PBS for years. Traveling alone, I wasn’t sure about driving on the other side of the road. I have a terrible sense of direction, even with a map and compass, taking many scenic routes trying to get from point A to point B! After watching the informative and educational Rick Steves’ travel shows, I registered for my first Rick Steves’ tour. There would be a dedicated tour guide, a small group, charming sleeping arrangements, opportunity to get off the beaten path and a coach driver with a better sense of direction than mine. If Life is a series of daring adventures launched from a safe base (John Boulby), what better safe base than a Rick Steves’ Tour.
